Herten's OKI has been serving the North Jersey Area since 1969.

Mission Statement:
The mission statement of the karate school is and always has been to develop strong minds and bodies, while preserving the teachings of Chosen Chibana dai sensei.  Through practicing Shorin Ryu Karate, we believe that the character of each individual can be improved.  Respect, self-discipline, courtesy, patience, and humility are some of the aspects of Shorin Ryu Karate that we strive to perfect.

Below are the great men that I have been fortunate enough to have trained with over the last 45 Years.  All are Masters of Chibana ha style Shorin Ryu Karate Do.
